As the Rockefeller Plaza Christmas tree illuminated the night, guiding my family's festive pilgrimage through this urban wonderland, I captured these moments to share with you—dancing across Broadway, scaling the heights of the iconic skyscraper, and reliving movie history at the Ghostbusters firehouse.

Hi everyone. The following Offscript episode was initially recorded with the intention of it being a separate podcast to the Late Bloomer Actor podcast. However, in hindsight, I believe it better accompanies the messaging of my show by being part of the primary podcast and, as such, I'm now including my Offscript episodes within the Late Bloomer Actor show. This is an episode from the late bloomer actor Offscript coming out Christmas Day around the world, and I'm coming to you live from New York City, as you can see in the background. I love New York City and we're just going to walk a little bit here because in the background you can see the Rockefeller Plaza Christmas tree, iconic of New York, iconic of New York. So we're here with my family at the moment. So I've been doing a couple of recordings just while I'm on my trip in the United States, currently doing our eight nights in New York over Christmas, leaving Boxing Day. So I wanted to get the episodes out, so they're going to be very, very quick. I'm going to put a couple of snippets together. But we went and saw Back to the Future the musical at Broadway last night our one and only Broadway show that we've been able to see. So it was absolutely fantastic. Some brilliant actors in there. It just, you know, you sort of think at the moment first thing you think about it the Back to the Future musical well, that's going to be cheesy. No, this guys was absolutely fantastic. It was absolutely fantastic. And, as you can see, you've got some New York City police cars in the background, which they're everywhere. So I want to stretch this out a little bit. So you've got a little bit to listen to and I'll get a better view of the Christmas tree for you in a second. But what I wanted to say in relation to the Back to the Future musical was these guys on stage were absolutely brilliant and the actor playing Marty McFly he put in so much of an effort. He actually sounded just like the original Marty McFly, so from the movie and the stage show and everything about it was just absolutely fantastic. And it comes back to everything that I've said in these videos and the previous episode is your dreams can come true, and you've got to keep persevering and keep pushing through, because you never know when that door is going to open. And it's about finding moments like this, taking trips and doing stuff. That's so different. This is a family trip, but it's also something that is inspiring me to continue my acting journey and to continue with the podcast and sharing information and everything for you. So just a it's a thing to realize make your dreams come true. It's been very um, just a. It's a thing to um realize make your dreams come true. Um, it's been, uh, very good up here. It's damn cold, as you can tell. I've got my beanie on and my face is probably looking a bit frozen. So, um, just um, having a ball in new york and seeing all the sights, and there's so much um that I can attribute to the podcast.

It's about getting out, finding new locations and inspiring you to continue on your acting journey, and doing trips like this is what it's all about Meeting new people and experiencing new places, especially places like New York, where there's a lot of acting. Another quick snippet for you guys, coming from the deck of the Intrepid, will Smith was hitting golf balls in the book of I Am Legend. I almost got my movie wrong, but so there you go. I am legend was filmed right here on the deck of the Intrepid in New York. If you can recognize that car park down there, that's where the golf balls were hitting. So just before he saw the deer running. So this is cool, certainly an iconic spot that I wanted to see. So here we are on the deck of the Intrepid, new York City Absolutely fantastic.

As the episode releases, it's Christmas Eve here in New York. It's actually Christmas Day in Australia. It's just hit after midnight in my hometown, adelaide. So I've got to spend a whole day doing what we're doing and hopefully get enough time to put these together and get it out at 7 o'clock tonight Australian time, midnight American time tonight. So it's a Christmas Day release.
