He is Australia's only authentic 1920s-30s singer, and is an award-winning national jazz broadcaster with over 40 years on-air. Greg grew up in Sydney, Australia, the fourth of five children to Bert, a bus driver, and Aileen (Stapleton), a shop worker. He is of English and Irish ancestry.
